Bright & Breezy

February 16, 2017

This week we focus on all things Bright and Breezy. The first signs of spring are starting to appear and with them comes a shift in fashion.

As we slowly slip away from the camel tones, khaki colours, and burnt oranges of autumn and winter, we slip in to the bright and breezy tones that are ever popular with the warmer months, and begin moving in to lighter pieces that demonstrate a creative side.

The Bright and Breezy collection features a multitude of patterns that will take you from day to night. Pin striped jackets provide an air of sophistication that can be worn in the office, whilst the addition of statement jewellery pieces add a playful twist for an evening gathering.

When we think of fashion, we often try to imagine what the next best trend to emerge will be. However, sometimes the best and most iconic pieces date back many years. Our modern adaptation of the traditional waistcoat pairs fabulously with cropped, tailored trousers for a smart style that exudes sleek elegance.

You may have heard of the old fashion mantra “pink and blue never do” however, the colour pallet for the Bright and Breezy collection proves that when formed in the right hues, these colours work fabulously as a team, pairing up to make a statement that will not be forgotten.

We’ve chosen long line knits, denim shirts and V necks to create easy to wear looks that are interchangeable, alongside flamboyant jackets to edge you that bit closer towards the ever colourful spring months.

We’ve kept the footwear of the Bright and Breezy inspiration board neutral, so you can keep all focus on the jewellery and patterns from this collection and wave a big bye bye to cold winter mornings (at least for now).

If you’re feeling ready for a big wardrobe switch around, the Vilagallo pink shift dress is the one for you. The sunshine may not be ready to escape the clouds of February just yet, but a splash of colour is all you need to create a wardrobe full of sunshine.
